Description

You will own the design, deployment, and maintenance of API management infrastructure, focusing on IBM API Connect, Apigee Edge, and DataPower Gateway.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and upgrade Apigee Edge environments and IBM API Connect components including Analytics, Management, and DevPortal.
• Manage DataPower Gateway configurations and integration workflows.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible, and BitBucket to streamline DevOps operations.
• Ensure API security standards through LDAP, Active Directory, and PING integrations.
• Support backend services and data stores including Cassandra, Zookeeper, and PostgreSQL.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with IBM API Connect (Analytics, Management, DevPortal).
• Hands-on administration and upgrade experience with Apigee Edge.
• Proficiency in DataPower Gateway management.
• Strong background in CI/CD and DevOps practices using Jenkins, Ansible, and BitBucket.
• Experience with database technologies: Cassandra, Zookeeper, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with LDAP, Active Directory, PING, and Syslog for security and logging.
• Ability to use SOAPUI and XML Spy for testing and validation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API security and integration solutions.
