Description

You will lead development and integration across multiple technologies and datasets within an Agile team. You own the full delivery lifecycle from implementation to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, coding, unit testing, system integration, and defect resolution.
• Troubleshoot and support existing systems to drive continuous improvement.
• Promote shared code ownership through rigorous code reviews, standards, and documentation.
• Identify requirement issues early to facilitate course correction.
• Participate in defining and implementing the engineering team roadmap.

Required Skills

• 10-15 years of proven experience in software development and system maintenance.
• Expertise in TypeScript, React/Angular, NodeJS, and GraphQL.
• Strong background in object-oriented design and enterprise design patterns.
• Deep knowledge of modern enterprise and cloud architectures, including microservices, serverless, event-driven, and reactive patterns.
• Proficiency with SQL and Postgres.
• Hands-on experience with application optimization, scaling, security, caching strategies, and large-scale distributed computing.
• Experience with containerization methodologies.
• Strong data engineering foundation using traditional and NoSQL databases and streaming data like Kafka.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with C#, Java, Rust, or Python.
• Commercial experience with commodities market datasets, data feeds, and industry conventions.
