Description

You will lead the design, development, and release of scalable microservices and web applications across the full stack.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Develop responsive frontend interfaces with Angular or React, utilizing JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Manage asynchronous messaging and event streaming with Kafka.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket to ensure rapid, reliable delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Deep proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Strong command of Angular or React, along with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS and OpenShift.
• Hands-on expertise with Kafka for message queuing and streaming.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and REST/SOAP web services.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and DB2 databases, including JPA and Hibernate.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Demonstrated ability in Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with technical leadership and guiding junior engineers.
