Description

Lead software systems design and architecture for complex SaaS platforms. Own the full development lifecycle from solution design to integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead software systems engineers and outsourced partners through design, coding, testing, and integration.
• Review and evaluate designs for compliance with development standards to mitigate failure risk.
• Drive the integration of new technologies into the software systems design organization.
• Provide domain-specific expertise and leadership to cross-organizational programs.
• Mentor less experienced staff and manage relationships with development partners.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software systems design and architecture.
• Proficiency in Go or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience developing for public cloud environments including VMware, AWS, and Azure.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.
• Expertise in architecting, implementing, monitoring, and supporting microservices for SaaS offerings.
• Ability to design and integrate software systems running on multiple platform types.
• Experience writing and executing test plans, debugging, and creating testing scripts.
• Proven ability to communicate product architectures and design proposals to senior management.
