Description

You will design high-level architectural approaches for software design, data flows, information security, and cloud or on-premises deployments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and influence functional and non-functional requirements for new and legacy applications.
• Develop high-level design specifications focusing on system integration, maintainability, performance, scale, and feasibility.
• Support software engineers, SREs, and architects in making appropriate technology choices and adhering to engineering standards.
• Optimize use cases to align with well-architected frameworks and repeatable patterns.
• Solve complex technical problems by applying methodical solution knowledge and ensuring software meets quality, security, and observability requirements.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of total experience in software development and architecture, including 6+ years of architecture and design practice on enterprise applications.
• Demonstrable mastery of at least one of the following: Node, .NET, Python, or Java, including its ecosystem and tooling.
• Expertise in full-stack development.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with data architecture and enterprise data platforms.
• Proficiency in infrastructure architecture including networking, containers, storage, and API gateways.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, test automation, security tools, and systems monitoring.
• Experience with Agile development practices at scale.
• Proven track record with at least two different enterprise-class applications across two or more product organizations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring engineering teams to grow their architecture capabilities.
• Ability to influence technical decisions across non-technical stakeholder levels.
