Description

You will lead the SRE charter by driving platform automation, distributed systems reliability, and operational best practices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build orchestration tools to optimize workflows and minimize defects.
• Establish best practices for structuring, automating, deploying, and monitoring complex distributed software.
• Triage alerts, diagnose critical issues, and manage change implementation with engineering teams.
• Mentor lead, senior, and staff SREs on DevSecOps culture and system design improvements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years automating tasks and building cloud-native microservice architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Ruby for tooling development.
• Advanced knowledge in at least three areas: Cloud-native/IaaS architecture (Azure preferred, GCP/AWS), Design (compliance/security), Cloud Engineering, Container Orchestration, or Microservice engineering.
• Deep expertise in SRE/DevOps philosophies, SLA management, and incident resolution.
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting streaming technologies.
• Proven ability to design and maintain massive-scale data processing environments using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Experience with Design Specifications and Systems Engineering.
• Ability to work on client W2 without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Skills

• Experience commuting to Charlotte, NC, Phoenix, AZ, or Dallas, TX three days a week.
