Description

Lead the technical direction for core software services and Kubernetes deployment code, owning site reliability and driving architectural vision across multiple releases.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design, data modeling, and deployment strategies for core services.
• Own site reliability for a team of software engineers and product managers.
• Mentor engineers and support internal teams utilizing your services.
• Drive architectural vision across multiple releases through cross-functional collaboration.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience deploying complex HTTP-based services on Docker and Kubernetes at scale on AWS.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python or a related language for operations automation.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS networking, including ALB/ELB and VPC configurations.
• 2+ years in a Senior DevOps, Senior SRE, or higher role at a software company.
• Expertise in Linux systems and advanced Git techniques including rebase and amend.
• Experience with authentication protocols such as OAuth2 and LDAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or comparable industry experience.
• Ability to work within 3 hours of Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Preferred Skills

• 1+ years of experience with Terraform.
• Experience with ArgoCD and advanced Kubernetes tools like sealed secrets.
• Debugging proficiency using Datadog and kubectl.
