Description

You will provide technical support for IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling File Gateway via phone, email, and remote desktop connections.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex technical issues across various platforms, software systems, and databases while meeting SLA requirements.
• Investigate root causes to determine if issues reside within the product, third-party libraries, user code, or platform libraries.
• Manage administrative activities including installation, component migration, performance tuning, and thread dump analysis.
• Implement key features such as protocols, B2Bi clusters, properties, REST APIs, services, and adapters.
• Create internal and external Knowledge Base documentation and provide debugging tools for product enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Sterling B2B Integrator implementation and support.
• Proven experience onboarding customers to Sterling File Gateway.
• Expertise in Sterling B2B database tables, queueWatcher, and bin directory scripts.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP, IP, HTTP/S, S/FTP, SMTP, and AS2.
• Proficiency in debugging and problem-solving using C, C++, or Java.
• Experience with REST API implementation.
• Knowledge of relational database design, tuning, and SQL execution.
• Experience with distributed computing, including Hadoop and networked clustering.
• Understanding of software design principles and operating system design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Syncsort Connect (DMX, DMX-h, Share, Syncsort UNIX).
• Administration knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments such as AIX, Red Hat EL, Solaris, or HP-UX.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other virtualization technologies.
