Good to Have Skills: Knowledge of C&I solar and storage design and installation. Knowledge of C&I building management systems. Experience in renewable energy systems. Experience with SunSpec and Modbus protocols. Strong programming skills in multiple languages.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Drive the architecture and development of new storage, PV and energy solutions for Commercial and Industrial markets.
• Author systems requirement documents and architectural documents including interface documents, sequence diagrams and integration plans.
• Participate in integration efforts with prototypes in systems engineering labs including communication and power testing.
• Report on progress to management through oral presentations and written documentation.
• Establish relationships with key stakeholders across different geographies relevant to the domain.
• Participate in design reviews of individual components that are part of the overall system design.
• Investigate and evaluate future technologies for potential implementation in energy systems.
• Mentor and coach junior members of the engineering team to develop their technical capabilities.

Experience Required: Engineering degree with 15 years experience, or M.Sc. with 12 years experience, or Ph.D. with 8 years of experience. Minimum 2 years in relevant field developing or deploying electrical systems for Commercial and Industrial applications. Experience developing systems with hardware, firmware and embedded software components. Hands-on laboratory experience required
