Description

You will provide front-line technical support to debug complex security issues within customer production networks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network security issues in production environments.
• Replicate customer issues within a lab environment to isolate root causes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to test and validate possible fixes.
• Create and maintain knowledge articles for team members and subordinates.
• Handle direct calls with production customers to resolve critical network issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting security protocols and features.
• Expertise in IPsec, SSL VPNs, Authentication, Captive portal, AV, IPS, Radius, ACLs, Web Proxy, and DNS Proxy.
• Strong understanding of CA-certs, CA-chain, and SSL forward proxy.
• Experience troubleshooting Stateful Firewalls and various NAT deployments.
• Proficiency in URL filtering, Application identification, and URL reputation/categorization.
• Knowledge of IDP/IPS features including AV, vulnerability, IP-filtering, and file-filtering.
• Experience in TAC or technical support environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field of study.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SD-WAN, SASE, SSE, CASB, ZTNA, or UEBA.
• Experience with Routing/Switching (OSPF, BGP) and Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Perl and working knowledge of Linux/Unix.
