You will own the technical vision and architectural direction for complex software solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deliver architectural expertise to development teams for new features or significant enhancements.
• Conduct complex business process analysis and develop architectural approaches and POCs.
• Design and build highly available, scalable, secure, and cost-optimized architecture.
• Review code to ensure design quality, advocating clarity and contributing hands-on prototypes.
• Recommend and apply appropriate techniques and tools at the lowest application level.

Required Skills

• 10+ years total technical experience, including 3+ years in full-time architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of Software Design and Architecture Patterns.
• Experience with complex cloud-based software projects and web application development.
• Proficiency in Java and J2EE (JSF/Servlet/JDBC/JMS).
• Experience with Microservices, AWS, Apache Kafka, Python, Scala, Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, and Solr.
• Familiarity with REST, SOAP, SQL, and JSON/XML.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
