Description

Lead technical direction and development for flagship mobile shopping and pharmacy applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex Android code and implement high-level architectural improvements.
• Own end-to-end application delivery, including coordination for production deployments.
• Maintain mobile CI/CD infrastructure, pipelines, and high-level tooling support.
• Monitor application health and KPIs while performing root cause analysis on production issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers regarding software design and security best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 7+ years of experience designing and developing Android mobile applications.
• Proficiency with Kotlin and modern frameworks like Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with TDD (Test Driven Development) and building with testing in mind.
• Knowledge of continuous delivery, code reviews, static analysis, and functional testing.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including design, product, and data.
• Demonstrated ability to influence large organizations regarding Android development best practices.
• Experience with mobile accessibility standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL, BFF (Backend for FrontEnd), and Reactive Programming.
• Expertise in building Design Systems libraries and working with highly modularized apps using Gradle.
• Knowledge of OAuth, authenticated sessions, and integrating third-party SDKs.
