Description

You will drive the architecture and development of flagship mobile shopping and pharmacy applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex Android code and implement high-level technical solutions for mobile use-cases.
• Own end-to-end application delivery, including coordination for production deployments and monitoring application health via KPIs.
• Maintain and improve mobile CI/CD infrastructure, pipelines, and tooling support for the engineering team.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex data, service, and platform issues.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and advocacy for security best practices and software design.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience with 7+ years dedicated to Android mobile applications.
• Proficiency with Kotlin and modern frameworks such as Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with TDD (Test Driven Development) and building with a test-first mindset.
• Expertise in continuous delivery, code reviews, static analysis, and automation.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams including design, product, and data analysts.
• Experience implementing mobile accessibility standards.
• Ability to influence large organizations on Android development best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL, BFF (Backend for FrontEnd), and Reactive Programming.
• Knowledge of highly modularized build systems using Gradle and custom plugins.
• Experience building Design Systems libraries and integrating third-party SDKs.
• Familiarity with OAuth, authenticated sessions, and static/dynamic analyzers like Android lint or ktlint.
