Description

You will operate and maintain digital printers within a development and test lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed digital printers using ink-jet and electro-photographic technology.
• Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance, cleaning, and simple printer repairs.
• Execute test plans provided by engineering staff, collecting and measuring data at various operating points.
• Manage waste ink collection, including organizing bins and moving drums to shipping docks.
• Receive, record, and stage deliveries for ink, paper, and parts while assisting with inventory management.

Required Skills

• Experience operating large industrial equipment.
• Ability to follow established procedures for digital production printer hardware and control units.
• Proficiency in Excel for recording maintenance activities and issues.
• Experience with IBM PC systems.
• Background in inventory maintenance and reporting.
• Experience with material handling, including the use of electric pallet jacks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude for equipment setup and maintenance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in shipping and receiving.
• Knowledge of printing systems technology.
