Description

You will own the release pipeline and ensure ITSM processes are followed effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Development, DevOps, and QA teams to plan and schedule software releases based on project timelines.
• Oversee the release calendar and facilitate change management procedures to validate impacts before deployment.
• Manage configuration management processes to ensure all components and dependencies are documented and version controlled.
• Conduct post-release reviews and root cause analysis using 5 Whys to implement preventive measures.
• Design and implement Canary Region strategies to manage gradual rollouts and minimize production impact.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in release management, deployment automation, and change management.
• Proficiency with ITSM tools including JIRA Service Management and ServiceNow.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Strong understanding of ITIL best practices and ITIL 4 certification.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and mobile deployment processes (iOS/Android).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet and IaC principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Canary Region deployment strategies.
