Description

You will own process engineering deliverables for industrial plants, coordinating with customers, offshore teams, vendors, and construction staff.

Responsibilities

• Define scope of work and collect required inputs to complete engineering design.
• Deliver engineering packages including PFDs, P&IDs, and mass/energy balance calculations.
• Coordinate with vendors and construction teams for technical evaluations and information gathering.
• Attend design reviews with customers and construction teams to secure approvals.
• Support construction and start-up activities as needed.

Required Skills

• 5+ years as a Process Engineer in industrial plants (Chemical, Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Fine/Specialty Chemicals, Food & Beverages).
• Experience in Surfactant making plants is preferred.
• Ability to prepare and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, mass & energy balances, and hydraulic calculations.
• Strong grasp of chemical engineering fundamentals: heat transfer, fluid mechanics, solid handling, mass transfer.
• Independent specification and selection of process plant equipment (pumps, heat exchangers, tanks).
• Experience in selection of safety devices and process safety management.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Experience with AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow, or other hydraulic calculation software.
• Powder handling equipment sizing and design experience.
