Description

Manage and optimize manufacturing processes for stamping operations. Own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and work instructions for stamping operations.
• Optimize stamping processes to increase production efficiency, reduce scrap rates, and improve quality.
• Develop process controls and monitoring systems to ensure stability and capability.
• Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis on process failures and implement corrective actions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a stamping manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of stamping processes, including die design, die build, material flow, and press operations.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Hands-on experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
• Practical application of Kaizen and 5S methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and monitor key performance indicators.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with production teams to resolve technical issues and provide operator training.
• Participation in the design of new stamping tools and fixtures.
