Description

You will support chemical process design and operations within a manufacturing environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform scaling calculations for unit operations during conceptual process design.
• Participate in process reviews covering operability, safety, and quality.
• Analyze production and laboratory data to aid process understanding and troubleshoot efficiency issues.
• Assist with quality investigations and implement corrective or preventative actions.
• Draft manufacturing documents, including PFDs, batch records, and SOPs.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of core chemical engineering fundamentals: thermodynamics, heat transfer, mass transfer, transport, and kinetics.
• Ability to analyze data from sensors and experiments to improve efficiency.
• Experience using software (spreadsheets, programming, simulators) to model chemical unit operations.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and new technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with quality investigation methodologies.
