Description

You design and validate industrial process equipment through cross-disciplinary collaboration and experimental testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design prototype and industrial process equipment by collaborating with Chemical, Electrical, and Materials engineering disciplines.
• Develop and execute experiments to validate process designs and equipment performance.
• Apply principles of physics and machine design to solve complex mechanical and process challenges.
• Analyze material properties and capabilities to inform machine design decisions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in process or machine design.
• Working knowledge of physical phenomena including static and dynamic physics, heat and mass transfer, and fluid mechanics.
• Experience with materials processing equipment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of material properties for machine design applications.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to design experimental protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work alongside Chemical, Electrical, and Materials engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
