Description

You will work onsite in a process plant environment delivering engineering packages and designs for industrial plants.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering packages and process designs for industrial plants.
• Define project scope with customers and coordinate deliverables with offshore teams.
• Collect technical inputs from customers, vendors, and construction teams to complete designs.
• Perform technical evaluations of vendor quotations and participate in design reviews.
• Support construction and start-up activities as required.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in chemical, agrochemical, pharmaceutical, fine chemical, specialty chemical, or food & beverage industries.
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Ability to prepare and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and hydraulic calculations.
• Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, solid handling, and mass transfer.
• Experience specifying and selecting process equipment including pumps, heat exchangers, and tanks.
• Knowledge of safety device selection and process safety management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with sanitary piping and process systems.
• Familiarity with AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow, or other hydraulic calculation software.
