Description

Drive process engineering research, development, and evaluation for complex semiconductor capital equipment and systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute professional research and development to evaluate processing techniques used in product manufacture and fabrication.
• Conceive and plan projects involving the selection of new concepts and approaches for process development.
• Compile and evaluate test data to define limits and variables for process specifications.
• Support customer technology managers with data collection, analysis, and reporting for customer demos.

Required Skills

• Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics; or M.S. with 3+ years of relevant work experience; or B.S. with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Working knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and react to shifting priorities to meet deadlines.
• Experience working effectively within diverse teams and matrix environments.
• Ability to lead small projects and serve as a technical resource for less experienced colleagues.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with working in a chemical laboratory.
• Experience in surface preparation and analytical techniques.
