You will design and engineer processes for industrial chemical plants.
Responsibilities
Develop and interpret PFDs and P&IDs.
Perform mass and energy balance and hydraulic calculations.
Specify and select process equipment including pumps, heat exchangers, and tanks.
Execute process safety management activities and select appropriate safety devices.
Apply chemical engineering fundamentals to heat transfer, fluid mechanics, mass transfer, and solid handling.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in industrial plants (Chemical, Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Fine/Specialty Chemicals, or Food & Beverages).
Degree in Chemical Engineering (BE, B.Tech, BS, or MS).
Proficiency in MS Office.
Ability to specify plant equipment independently based on project requirements.
Solid understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, mass transfer, and solid handling.
Preferred Skills
Experience in surfactant manufacturing plants.
Experience with powder handling equipment sizing and design.
Knowledge of sanitary piping and process systems.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, AFT Fathom, or AFT Arrow.
