Description

Manage supplier performance and schedule compliance for aerospace processors, machine shops, and sheet metal shops. You will monitor emergent offload and overload suppliers to ensure product conformity and resolve contractual corrective actions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain priorities for product, service, and data deliveries.
• Communicate status and concerns across procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.
• Co-facilitate supplier recovery plans and address unplanned demand requirements.
• Participate in on-site supplier assessments to identify capacity and capability for projected work statements.
• Identify supplier training needs regarding business and manufacturing practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.
• 5+ years of experience working with internal and external suppliers.
• 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of aircraft interiors.
• Experience with scheduling tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in aircraft maintenance or manufacturing.
• Formal or informal team leadership experience.
