Description

You will own the design and management of data platforms and control planes, ensuring stable, contract-driven APIs for enterprise use.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modular containerized services with asynchronous processing and job-based work queue execution.
• Define and enforce data policies, semantic models, and metadata management strategies.
• Build control planes that ensure immutability, idempotency, and side-effect capability injection.
• Develop observability and telemetry systems to monitor platform health and performance.
• Translate complex data pipeline capabilities into stable, contract-driven APIs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Product Manager or in managing data platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and service development.
• Experience with Fast API for building robust APIs.
• Familiarity with ARQ for asynchronous task queuing.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Proficiency in Pytest for testing and quality assurance.
• Deep understanding of design patterns including immutability, idempotency, and semantic modeling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building data or compute platforms, service layers, or internal frameworks.
