Description

You will own the mechanical design and architecture of power and accessory products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design mechanical parts and assemblies using 3D CAD.
• Balance cost, size, power, and performance requirements throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with Industrial Design, Electrical Hardware, Thermal, Reliability, and Packaging teams.
• Coordinate with Tooling, EMC, Operations, and contract partners to drive product resolution.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Product Design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and UniGraphics NX.
• Experience with GD&T and plastic and metal part design.
• BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• End-to-end design cycle experience from concept to high-volume manufacturing.
• 5+ years of working experience.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in Tolerance Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Design of Experiments, FEA, and Thermal Design.
• Direct management or leadership of product development engineering teams.
