Lead a team of Data Engineers to execute web scraping initiatives and manage end-to-end data collection projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Data Engineers, setting goals, priorities, and conducting performance reviews.
• Develop project plans and timelines for web scraping initiatives to ensure efficient and ethical data collection.
• Implement quality assurance processes to maintain data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Assign tasks based on team skill sets and oversee project progress via KPI tracking.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and developers to meet technical data requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Deep knowledge of web page structures.
• Familiarity with web scraping best practices and ethical data collection.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations.
• Knowledge of data storage and database management systems.
