Description

You will design, develop, validate, and release air intake system components for internal combustion engine and hybrid electrified vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Design air intake components including low-pressure ducts, air cleaners, hoses, resonators, and brackets.
• Execute component development through early packaging, prototyping, testing, and documentation.
• Coordinate CAE, CAD design, and testing activities to meet functional objectives.
• Manage suppliers to ensure part maturity and milestone achievement.
• Support vehicle assembly, testing, quality concerns, and technical cost reductions post-launch.

Required Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an ABET-accredited equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of air intake systems and components.
• Proficiency in CAD design and CAE methodologies.
• Experience creating and applying DFMEA and DVP&R.
• Ability to lead and manage suppliers and multiple concurrent activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to the US 1-2 times per month.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with plastics manufacturing, specifically injection and blow-molding.
• Knowledge of UG/NX CAD systems and FCA systems/processes.
• Experience with engine or vehicle-level testing and data acquisition.
