Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop low-level designs and incremental features for TCS BaNCS banking products (e.g., core banking, payments, loan origination).
• Integrate TCS BaNCS systems into customer environments by building interfaces using data streaming/event architecture, REST APIs, and file-based exchanges.
• Develop and maintain RESTful services using JAX-RS and JSON, including Swagger/product documentation and low-level design artifacts.
• Troubleshoot customer/user-reported issues, perform unit testing, and conduct source code reviews.
• Support performance reviews of system behavior and implement fixes; contribute to automation and data extracts/reporting as needed.

Skills Required:

• 3-8 years of relevant experience in Java-based integration and banking systems.
• Hands-on Java development for banking systems, including integration and support experience.
• Apache Kafka and event/data streaming integration patterns in a microservices architecture.
• Container orchestration and cloud-native/DevOps exposure for deploying and operating services.
• RESTful API development using JAX-RS and JSON, including API documentation (Swagger) and unit testing.

Good to Have:

• AWS or Azure exposure; Java EE, Struts, Angular, and Springboot experience.
• RDBMS query writing with Oracle/DB2/PostgreSQL; GitHub; JMeter; Agile methodologies; data migration experience.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
