Description

Design and develop integration interfaces for banking products using Java, Kafka, and microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design low-level designs and incremental features for core banking and loan origination systems.
• Build and maintain RESTful services using JAX-RS and JSON, including Swagger documentation.
• Integrate systems into customer environments using Apache Kafka, data streaming, and file-based exchanges.
• Troubleshoot reported issues, perform unit testing, and conduct source code reviews.
• Support performance reviews using jMeter and implement necessary fixes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java-based development and integration.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven microservices architectures.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development using JAX-RS and JSON.
• Experience with container orchestration and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of RDBMS systems (Oracle, DB2, or PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular, Spring Boot, or Java EE.
• Proficiency with jMeter for performance testing.
