You own the end-to-end product strategy and operational roadmap for solutions integrating third-party software. You define value propositions, target segments, and business cases to align with the broader company portfolio, managing configuration mixes, revenue, margins, and market share.
Responsibilities
- Develop hardware bill of materials to optimize performance with third-party software.
- Advise stakeholders on portfolio strategy across all lifecycle phases, from planning to end-of-life.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Pricing to optimize margins and enable product success.
- Perform cost modeling to establish competitive pricing, discount structures, and meet margin expectations.
- Support customer deal engagement, configuration, quoting, and escalated pricing processes.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of work experience in product management or related field.
- Strong understanding of Data Protection technology, market trends, and customer needs.
- Expert skills in cost-efficient solution building and financial performance metric analysis.
- Ability to drive cross-functional teams and influence internal/external partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with Supply Chain and Marketing teams.
Preferred Skills
- MBA or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Technical understanding of the relevant industry and root cause analysis.
