Description

You will own the claims product backlog, ensuring items are defined, prioritized, and ready for engineering execution.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Refine features and user stories in collaboration with the Business Analyst.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Commercial Lines product Claims initiatives.
• Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases reflecting real claims behavior.
• Lead demonstrations of business value and guide teams through agile ceremonies.
• Manage and prioritize the user story backlog, adapting delivery plans as needed.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in a product ownership capacity.
• Strong understanding of Claims workflow within P&C insurance, specifically Commercial Lines.
• Demonstrated experience working on claims systems (P&C insurance).
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
• Comfort working with data using SQL or analytics tools to validate assumptions.
• Proficiency with Agile project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
• Experience with Bureau reporting and statistical reporting.
