Manage the IT product portfolio lifecycle, aligning technical delivery with business strategy and state governance requirements.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define product scope and prioritize backlogs to align with long-term IT strategies and user needs.
• Lead cross-functional fusion teams, facilitating agile ceremonies, sprint reviews, and user story development.
• Oversee product releases, deployment readiness, and performance monitoring while managing delivery risks.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to SLAs, interoperability standards, and service availability.
• Track product financials, budget planning, and performance metrics for leadership reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in similar IT product management roles.
• Strong proficiency in agile methodologies, backlog prioritization, and roadmap planning.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and external agencies.
• Ability to define acceptance criteria, oversee testing, and manage feature delivery.
• Knowledge of IT governance, state/federal compliance, and SLA management.
• Financial acumen for budget planning and product cost monitoring.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in government or enterprise-level IT product management.
• Familiarity with procurement and implementation processes for IT solutions.
