Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize features and backlog items based on business value and customer impact.
  • Work closely with Scrum teams during sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Developers, QA, and UX Designers, to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Drive product design discussions and ensure solutions align with business objectives.
  • Manage the complete requirement lifecycle, including elicitation, documentation, validation, and change management.
  • Coordinate with business users to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Track product progress, identify risks, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, to improve delivery efficiency.
  • Support continuous process improvement and recommend innovative solutions to enhance customer experience and business outcomes.

 

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong experience in Business Analysis and Product Planning.
  • Hands-on experience with Banking Products and financial services.
  • Solid understanding of Product Design principles and Agile product development.
  • Experience managing the Requirement Lifecycle from gathering through implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Banking or Financial Services organizations.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting UAT, release planning, and product roadmaps.
  • Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO) is a plus
