Description

Own the product roadmap and backlog for customized software solutions, acting as the single point of contact between business stakeholders and the application development team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business owners and account managers to identify user needs and define product strategy.
• Write, refine, and prioritize user stories and acceptance criteria based on business requirements.
• Relay user experiences and feature specifications to the development team, participating in daily standups.
• Review current backlogs and new feature requests to prioritize work effectively.
• Test, demonstrate new features, and train users on product updates and changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience analyzing, documenting, and supporting business needs, system requirements, or process workflows.
• 3+ years of IT experience leading teams or projects involving customized software solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of SQL, including writing and interpreting statements.
• Experience working with major ERP solutions and understanding basic accounting principles (accounts receivable and payable).
• Experience supporting finance or accounting functions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PeopleSoft (Version 9.2 or higher).
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile development methodology.
• Experience supporting commission-based payments in the medical/dental insurance market.
