Description

You will own the product backlog and bridge the gap between business stakeholders and the data engineering team, specifically within the investment banking domain.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements for Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Trading into actionable technical specifications for Databricks-based solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers to define and validate data pipelines, lakehouse architecture, and reporting standards.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of front-office data products.
• Facilitate communication between trading desks and engineering teams to align on data quality and latency requirements.
• Monitor product adoption and gather feedback to iterate on data solutions and reporting dashboards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst.
• Strong understanding of Databricks and the Data Engineering ecosystem.
• Experience with Lakehouse architecture, data pipelines, and reporting tools.
• Domain knowledge in Investment Banking, specifically Front Office, Fixed Income, and Derivatives.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Holmdel, NJ.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Any Graduate).

Preferred Skills

• Direct exposure to trading systems and real-time data processing.
• Experience managing technical debt in legacy data environments.
