Description

You will own and manage Inspire Brands’ payments digital channels, including payment processors, gateways, POS terminals, and kiosks. This role focuses on execution, vendor management, and operational ownership of the current payments landscape rather than defining future-state roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for external payment vendors and technology partners, managing relationships, issues, and dependencies.
• Translate business and technical needs into epics and user stories in Jira to support delivery and execution.
• Partner with internal technology, digital experience, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and reliability of payment systems.
• Reduce operational load on internal teams by proactively managing vendor interactions and resolving technical blockers.
• Manage multiple initiatives concurrently, ensuring alignment on payment reliability, fraud considerations, and compliance impacts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in product ownership or product management, ideally within payments, digital commerce, or fintech.
• Direct experience with payment processing platforms, payment gateways, digital wallets, gift cards, or transactional checkout platforms.
• Hands-on experience using Jira in an Agile environment to track and manage work.
• Proven experience working with external vendors and third-party technology providers.
• Ability to translate requirements into actionable work without a heavy focus on new development.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage competing priorities and multiple workstreams.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to fraud prevention, compliance, or payment reliability concepts.
• Advanced degree in business, technology, or a related field.
