Description

You will own the security posture for medical device software. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deploy security controls for medical devices, including secure authentication, authorization, and secure boot.
• Manage and mitigate cybersecurity risks against international regulatory standards (FDA, EU MDR, Japan PMDA, China NMPA).
• Conduct penetration testing and perform Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) analysis.
• Ensure device connectivity meets required security protocols.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years in medical device cybersecurity.
• Strong background developing embedded systems using C and C++.
• Deep understanding of regulatory standards: FDA, EU MDR, Japan PMDA, China NMPA.
• Familiarity with global security standards: ISO, IEC, AAMI, NIST, IMDRF, MDCG.
• Experience implementing security controls for medical devices.
• Hands-on experience in vulnerability management.
