Description

You will design, develop, and maintain application software while providing technical leadership to the engineering team.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design features and multiple modules through active participation in architectural reviews and software design processes.
• Develop code and scripts for features, ensuring cross-technical integration and adherence to standard coding processes.
• Lead testing efforts by developing unit tests, creating test strategies, and recommending testing frameworks.
• Define deployment and release guidelines, including environment planning and managing cross-functional dependencies.
• Collaborate with product managers and analysts to review requirements, provide level of effort estimates, and define project schedules.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to design complex systems and application software.
• Experience performing requirements analysis and working with business analysts.
• Skill in conducting peer reviews and mentoring junior team members.
• Ability to troubleshoot application issues using knowledgebase documentation.
• Experience with DevOps practices and defining release guidelines.
• Competency in developing test strategies and unit testing.
• Strong technical documentation skills for software configuration management and application support.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to investigate and evaluate new technologies for R&D.
