Description

Define and deliver high-throughput, low-latency microservices and ad serving systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and review production code and automated tests, ensuring best practices and efficient algorithmic complexity.
• Translate product requirements into well-defined technical implementation tasks and partner with engineering leads through execution.
• Define, review, and document software and system designs for high-throughput, low-latency microservices.
• Explore and deliver proofs-of-concept to improve ad serving systems, reducing cost and overhead and accelerating time-to-production.
• Enhance system observability using metrics, monitors, and alerts; support on-call shifts when needed.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of Java concurrency, heap behavior, garbage collection, and profiling.
• Experience building robust backend services with Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in Express JS for building and maintaining backend services and APIs.
• Experience deploying, operating, and scaling services in AWS.
• Experience with Next.js for server-rendered or hybrid web application development.
• BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Node.js, React, and TailwindCSS for full-stack delivery of interactive ad experiences.
