You will focus on ensuring digital content meets accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory of existing content and identify accessibility gaps.
• Implement content updates to address identified accessibility issues.
• Convert documents and pages into accessible formats, such as HTML.
• Apply best practices for semantic markup, ARIA attributes, and responsive design.
• Validate accessibility using state-approved tools and manual testing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in web design, web development, and digital accessibility.
• Expertise in web accessibility standards and best practices, specifically WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
• Proficiency in HTML.
• Experience creating accessible PDFs using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Ability to provide examples of web design and development projects demonstrating technical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of platforms like HCL/WCM.
