Description

You will own the accessibility compliance of digital content, ensuring all materials meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Conduct content inventories to identify accessibility gaps and compliance issues.
• Implement content updates and convert documents into accessible HTML formats.
• Apply semantic markup, ARIA attributes, and responsive design best practices.
• Create accessible PDFs using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Validate accessibility compliance using state-approved tools and manual testing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in web design, web development, and digital accessibility.
• Expert-level knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and implementation.
• Proficiency in HTML5 and semantic markup.
• Experience creating accessible PDFs using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Ability to demonstrate technical skills through previous web design and development projects.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
