Description

Provide deep-level technical support and analysis for Teradata products in a 24/7 mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with internal and external customers to deliver analysis and solutions for product issues.
• Recreate problems to assist with root cause analysis and isolate product defects.
• Adhere to established incident management processes and coordinate escalations for unresolved issues.
• Identify and implement improvements for processes, products, and tools.
• Mentor team members and share technical knowledge to improve service delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical support or engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of Teradata Database and associated solutions.
• Proven proficiency with Linux operating systems and senior-level problem recreation techniques.
• Experience with Cloud Technologies and how Teradata technology operates in the cloud.
• Strong understanding of Network Troubleshooting.
• Experience writing and troubleshooting scripts using Python or Shell.
• Experience with open-source logging, resource management, deployment, and configuration services.
• Proficiency using problem ticketing systems.
• Ability to work effectively within geographically dispersed teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Parallel Database Extensions.
• Senior-level experience with problem recreation on Windows operating systems.
