Description

You will provide L1/L2 support for development and productivity tools deployed on desktops and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot software tools used by developers and QA teams on desktop and VDI environments.
• Manage installation, configuration, and upgrades of applications across Windows and VDI platforms.
• Diagnose technical issues related to IDEs, development frameworks, and DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with developers and IT infrastructure teams to manage user access and system integration.
• Maintain documentation for installation guides, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Monitor application performance and assist with license management, patch updates, and software compliance.

Required Skills

• 3–7 years of experience in application support or system administration.
• Experience supporting software in VDI environments such as Citrix or VMware Horizon.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio Code, Microsoft Visual Studio, and JetBrains tool suites.
• Knowledge of Nodejs, Java, Python, and .NET.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and version control systems like Git.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
• Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
• Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and proxy settings.
