Description

You will lead design validation and testing for air conditioning units and subassemblies. You own the release pipeline from concept to field reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute design validation plans within project timelines.
• Analyze test data and conduct root cause analysis for failures in field or internal testing.
• Propose and develop instrumentation for test automation, data acquisition, and monitoring.
• Create methodologies for Accelerated Life Testing to ensure motor and electronics reliability.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams through DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, and DFR activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in product testing and validation.
• Profound knowledge of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Expertise in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning systems.
• Experience with Accelerated Life Testing (ALT).
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical thinking and data management capabilities.
• Experience with New Product Development (NPD) processes.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in PLC for mechanical test automation.
• Programming skills in Python, Excel VBA, or MATLAB.
• Knowledge of Reliability Analysis.
