Description

You will own application support and development tasks for production systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct development in response to user requirements, project involvement, or changing technologies.
• Monitor applications to ensure adequate system resources meet production standards.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production system disruptions, gathering logs for investigation.
• Deploy bug fixes to the test environment and manage user acceptance through to production rollout.
• Coordinate with DBA and associated teams for database indexing, security, and OS/DB patching.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of programming and support experience, with 1+ years in a relevant project domain.
• Mandatory proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, and PL-SQL.
• Strong knowledge in Core Java, including integration with external systems (DB, Web services, CRM).
• Experience working on the Unix platform.
• Familiarity with J2EE/JRE and web servers like Apache or Tomcat.
• Knowledge of Payment or Corporate online banking domains.
• Ability to review and interpret complex system and solution documentation.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication for documentation.
