Description

You will own application support and development tasks for production systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify applications based on user requirements and changing technologies.
• Monitor applications to ensure system resources meet production standards.
• Perform root cause analysis for production disruptions by gathering and analyzing logs.
• Deploy bug fixes to test environments and manage user acceptance through to production rollout.
• Coordinate with DBA and associated teams for database indexing, security, and OS/DB patching.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of programming and support experience.
• 1+ years in a relevant project domain.
• Mandatory proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, and PL/SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, including integration with external systems (DB, Web services, CRM).
• Experience working on the Unix platform.
• Familiarity with J2EE/JRE and web servers like Apache or Tomcat.
• Knowledge of Payment or Corporate online banking domains.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to review and interpret complex system and solution documentation.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication for documentation.
