Description

You will manage reelroom operations and support pressroom workflows during a 16-week temporary assignment with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities

• Operate reel stands, handling roll preparation and management.
• Adjust pasteur make-up and tension system settings.
• Sort and weigh waste newsprint and manage mailroom operations.
• Support plateroom duties and assist with general pressroom tasks.
• Maintain database and administrative records using PC software.

Required Skills

• Experience with sorting, wraps, and production workflows.
• Ability to lift 40 lb newspaper bundles repeatedly.
• Proficiency in database and printing administrative software.
• Availability for 2nd shift (4:00 PM to 12:30 AM).
• Willingness to work every Sunday, Friday, and holidays.
• Graduate level education in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in printing or mailroom environments.
