Description

You will manage the stability, performance, and operational excellence of critical IT applications and infrastructure in a global, follow-the-sun model.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve user-reported issues and infrastructure alerts, tracking incidents through to resolution.
• Facilitate root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventative measures.
• Execute and verify production changes in accordance with change management procedures.
• Partner with development teams to automate manual processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with external vendors and exchanges to resolve connectivity and market data issues.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in production management or operations.
• Strong proficiency with Linux environments.
• Scripting skills in Perl, Python, or UNIX shell.
• Experience working with databases.
• Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, and SNMP.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and real-time messaging technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Participation in business continuity tests to ensure recovery procedures are accurate.
