Description

Manage production operations for the Man-Hole cover division within an SGI Casting Foundry. Own the full production lifecycle from planning to audit compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed monthly, weekly, and daily production plans to meet output targets.
• Lead teams through ARPAs 450 and 900, hand moulding, and no-bake processes.
• Monitor green sand parameters and manage sand plant operations to ensure quality.
• Supervise employee training, material procurement, and plant maintenance.
• Drive scrap reduction and cost control while maintaining ISO 9001:2015 and Kite Mark Audit compliance.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of experience in SGI Casting Foundry environments.
• Expertise in Man-Hole cover division processes.
• Deep knowledge of ARPAs 450 and 900, hand moulding, and no-bake processes.
• Proficiency in managing green sand parameters and sand plant operations.
• Experience with foundry cast iron and moulding machine operation.
• Strong understanding of process integration and production planning.
• Proven ability to manage audits and maintain compliance standards.

Preferred Skills

• B.Tech or B.E. in Production, Industrial, or Metallurgy engineering.
