Description

You will manage daily production within a machine and heat treatment shop.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet goals for quality, delivery, and efficiency.
• Monitor production schedules, material flow, and equipment utilization for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process challenges, identifying root causes and applying lasting improvements.
• Supervise and develop machinists, operators, and team leads while fostering teamwork.
• Track performance metrics such as output, downtime, and scrap rates to identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years in machining, manufacturing, or production leadership.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining, production planning, and metalworking processes.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.
• Experience with daily operations in a fast-paced machine and heat treatment shop.
• Proven leadership and team development skills in a high-paced environment.
